Role: Director, Producer, Writer, Director of Photography, Editor, Fight Choreographer Sons of Lemuria was Nathan's first serious and major undertaking. Though self taught in film he set out to make something of high quality with virtually no money or film making experience. He would put together SOL with David and Brandon. He has been interested in video production since as early as 12 years old when he started making claymations with a VHS Camcorder. Over the years the want to make video of a higher quality lead to exploring the realm of short films. He teamed up with David Lavallee Jr. and Brandon Luis Aponte to write this film, and took it up to handle most of the production work. He had voluteered on several local and student films from 2006–2007 and learned various roles and abilities. He decided to persue learning every position on a set possible in order to become a well rounded film maker, as well as an asset in the future for many positions on a crew. He has multi–tasked many positions on this short, and states “I am very ambitious and sometimes that gets the best of me. I am also a perfectionist, and stubborn, which combined have all allowed me to push through this project and all the things I have done on it without giving up. I aim for the highest quality I can. I don't like to talk much about my work because I want people to make their own judgement. Talk is not what matters, but your product you have to show in the end.”He hopes that the Triple Short Films will open doors to paid work in the film and video production industries for both himself and all those who volunteered to make the films possible. Nathan is currently avaliable to discuss Directing, Editing, Filming, Acting, and Fight Choreography positions. Please contact him for more info. |
