Role: Writer, Lead Fight Choreographer, Assistant Director In 2006 David met Nathan A. Quattrini, and they both shared similar views on the quality of local films. They teamed up together to try and create something of high quality with very little. Sons of Lemuria was the first of the 3 short films they would work on. David brought his love of martial arts, his eye for action, and the hunger to make quality film into the project. He had previous fight choreography experience from his 8+ years of Wu Shu (Kung Fu) training, and was eager to open the local film scene to high quality fight scenes. He also understood the value of emotionally connecting with an audience and making them feel what the characters felt. Together with Nathan and Brandon he helped write Sons of Lemuria to make it an emotional yet action filled film. His dedication to the project started day 1, and he became the go to man for anything needed that the Director couldn't handle. Sons of Lemuria was David's first film that he worked on the production side. He admits that its not quite the kind of position he would do in the future, but he learned a lot about the film making process. His main interests remain focused on acting, fight choreography, and seeking a career as a professional actor. He is open to more work as an actor, stunt fighter, and fight choreographer. Please contact him if you have work he may be suitable for. |
