Role: Decius David is a highly versatile actor. He can be very comical, very serious, and very evil. In his role as Decius he shows clearly he has the ability to play a villian with the blackest of hearts. Not only does he have the look, but he has the physical ability to also bring the character to the next level. The fight scene in the film with Zarrius was one of his first major fights in film to choreograph, and also act in, and he pulled it off with grace and power. He is definately an actor to hire while he is cheap, because he will go far. During his childhood, David watched his mother, Cheryl Lavallee, take the stage in theatrical productions for local theatre groups Rites & Reasons, and The Black Rep. Not long after, through the influence of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan films, David began his training in martial arts, through which he developed his physical demonstration abilities and overcame any feelings of stage fright. It was also during this training that he, along with one of his fellow martial arts classmates began to try their hand at fight choreography, putting together intense theatrical fight sequences for martial arts demontrations held at their martial arts school. These events all influenced his decision to make acting a serious pursuit over two years ago, in 2006, when he landed his first fight choreography and acting gig in a local student film. It was on this film that he was introduced to fellow actor Brandon Luis Aponte and director/producer/editor Nathan A. Quattrini. Altough there are many goals and desires on varying levels that he pursues, his ultimate goal is to become a successful full-time film actor. He is constantly yearning for improvement, having previously acquired coaching in acting from Perishable and 2nd story Theatre. He is continually seeking to hone his craft and grow as an actor, seeking every opportunity to learn from others so he may improve himself. Height:5' 7" David is available for film roles with weekend shooting schedules. |
