David Lavallee Jr.
David Lavallee Jr.
Role: Escaping Prisoner

David has trained in Wu Shu Kung Fu for 8+ years, and is an avid fan of martial arts movies. It is only natural for him to want to star in his own martial arts film, and that is what Five Minutes Flat allowed to happen. He wrote the this short film with Nathan to showcase his physical and martial arts abilities. He also did much of the fight choreography for the film. He really shines in his first starring role. Portraying the intense energy and emotion of the character was not a simple task, but David perfect for the role. His martial arts ability is something local film in New England has not yet seen.

During his childhood, David watched his mother, Cheryl Lavallee, take the stage in theatrical productions for local theatre groups Rites & Reasons, and The Black Rep. Not long after, through the influence of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan films, David began his training in martial arts, through which he developed his physical demonstration abilities and overcame any feelings of stage fright. It was also during this training that he, along with one of his fellow martial arts classmates began to try their hand at fight choreography, putting together intense theatrical fight sequences for martial arts demontrations held at their martial arts school. These events all influenced his decision to make acting a serious pursuit over two years ago.

Altough there are many goals and desires on varying levels that he pursues, his ultimate goal is to become a successful full-time film actor. He is constantly yearning for improvement, having previously acquired coaching in acting from Perishable and 2nd story Theatre. He is continually seeking to hone his craft and grow as an actor, seeking every opportunity to learn from others so he may improve himself.
