Born in Australia, Michalel was immersed in musica at an early age. He began playing piano when he was young, and eventually progressed to composing and released his first CD in 1993. To date he has released 7 albumns. With the advances in technology he is always learning and experimenting, and he hopes his next adventure will be into composition for large budget films. About his inspiration he comments :

"Moving from the Hunter valley in N.S.W. to Northern Tasmania in 1994 brought me into contact even more with the untamed freedom and beauty of nature and my music is always an attempt to interpret this - on one or many levels. The wild nature of this beautiful planet we inhabit is always my inspiration.
